What You Will Be Doing

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Staff Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in the field of data engineering, exceptional problem-solving skills, a knack for logical reasoning, and a passion for tackling challenges head-on. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a pivotal role in building resilient, scalable data pipelines. If you are excited about working in an agile environment and possess hands-on experience with the latest data engineering technologies, we encourage you to apply.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop physical/logical data models.
• Build and maintain resilient and scalable data pipelines.
• Utilize Python programming for data engineering tasks.
• Implement NLP algorithms and apply them effectively.
• Work with PySpark, Apache Spark, and AWS stack for data processing.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Terraform.
• Leverage Snowflake for building ELT pipelines and work with dbt.
• Continuously optimize and improve data engineering processes.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in data engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of overall experience in data engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in an agile environment.
• Familiarity with Snowflake for ELT pipelines and experience with dbt.
• Strong experience in designing and developing physical/logical data models.
