We are currently seeking a Quality Systems Engineer for the Quality Information & Analytics Team.

Your role is critical in the development and management of Quality Information Systems at Lucid. You will act as a liaison across functional areas such as IT, Software, Service, Manufacturing and Engineering. To be successful in this role, you will need to establish strong partnerships and have a hands-on approach to developing Quality System Process Workflows and developing data sources to existing systems. You will be part of the evolution of a game changing electric vehicle manufacturer.

You Will:

  • Serve as the Quality Systems Engineer for Corporate Quality who is responsible for the following:
  • Primary Role – Systems Developer
  • Serving as the Designer / Developer for Quality Information Systems
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses
  • Define process workflows, which is a pattern others can follow to create and improve data systems
  • Define the data framework, standards, and principles
  • Define data flows, i.e., which parts of the organization generate data, which require data to function, how data flows are managed, and how data changes in transition
  • Collaborate and coordinate with multiple departments, stakeholders, partners, and external vendors
  • Gather requirements for business processes, and determine ways to optimize/improve JIRA workflows and Confluence Documentation
  • Understanding of JIRA APIs and webbooks
  • Support JIRA and Confluence users
  • Create JIRA filters, queries, and reports as required
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc..
  • Secondary Role – Data Analyst
  • Development & automation of the data pipeline to & from the Dealer Management System (DMS), Quality JIRA Project, etc.
  • Analysis of data and creation of visualizations to inform leadership on the Lucid State of Quality in the field.
  • Conduct deep dive data analysis to support quality investigations and service campaigns.
  • Propose solutions based on data and facts to support executive level decision making processes.
  • You Bring:

  • Required: Bachelors in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related areas
  • Preferred: Masters degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related areas
  • Required Knowledge / Experience
  • 3 years experience / skill level in development using JIRA and Confluence
  • 5 years experience / skill level in Data Science, Analysis & Visualization

  • Preferred Skills:

  • Expert in JIRA, Confluence, SQL & Python
  • Expert in Tableau; dashboard creation, data source development and publishing methods.
  • Expert in Process Mapping, Flowcharting, and System Design
  • Experience using Apache Spark, Hive, Presto, Job Scheduling with Airflow
  • Experience with Automotive Industry, Field Quality and Warranty Issue Management
  • Experience with LucidChart and Smartsheet.
  • Able to show teamwork to resolve problems and a thought process to drive successful solutions.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive and Teams
  • Project management experience is a plus
