ICON is seeking a Sr. Manager, Mobility to manage the movement and handling of our fleet of large format robotic 3D-printers and printing materials. This candidate has experience running large mobilization operations of heavy, manufactured products. The ideal applicant has deep experience in leading heavy equipment operations, rigging, logistics, and shipping, in a high pressure, high value environment.  This role will report to the Director of Print Operations located in our Austin, TX office. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead a team of Logistics Specialists, Heavy Equipment operators, and Site Inventory Associates.
  • Plan all ICON project mobilizations including movements of equipment at our Corporate Headquarters.
  • Collaborate with engineering to design and implement rigging systems for ICON products.
  • Collaborate with Print Operations and Project Management to ensure print systems and print materials are available at point of use.
  • Ensure safe and efficient movement of ICON equipment.
  • Track and report on the location of every ICON print system around the world.
  • Some travel required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 15+ years of experience in heavy equipment mobilization in world-class organizations.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated experience in planning and leading large-scale projects.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated collaboration with engineering and operations functions.
