Planning!  This position requires an experienced professional to work directly  with the Director of IT Planning. The Planning and Operations Office is comprised of IT Strategy & Planning, IT Financial Management, IT Operations and Management, IT Vendor Management, IT Workforce Planning and Resource Management, Chief Information Officer Council Governance, and the Chiefs of Staff teams. The Chief Operations Office organization develops and executes IT Operations & Technology strategic and operational plans, as well as provides central coordination of all IT business office functions.. The Role:

  • Serves as a process expert within area of assignment, providing guidance and direction to other professional staff and resolving complex problems; participates in developing tactical and strategic plans for systems/applications development and modification within area of expertise. 
  • Develop and direct projects to improve process maturity and efficiency, drive role clarity, and expand automation wherever possible
  • Conduct/lead business process analysis to understand the needs of the organization and translate those needs into clear specifications
  • Work with cross-functional leaders to scope projects, align objectives, and coordinate stakeholders to deliver outcomes for Lucid and our customers.
  • Actively find new opportunities for process improvement in IT and help shape a culture of continuous improvement in the pursuit of Operational Excellence
  • Map and document processes. Independently identify process gaps; recommend and implement process improvements
  • Act as advocate and change agent to drive and sustain improvements at all levels of the operations organization
  • Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Passion for excellence and delivering business value
  • Experience leading or managing small teams effectively and planning/structuring analytical work
  • Broad, diverse experience and knowledge of major technologies (legacy to emerging)
  • 6+ years of relevant business experience 
  • Track record of delivering results that demonstratively improve the IT customer experience
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to influence and lead complex projects with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Comfort working with ambiguity, with experience implementing program management best practices
  • Excellent analytical skills and interpersonal communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead/facilitate problem solving teams & cross functional teams 
  • Advantageous Qualifications:

  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and PM certification a plus
  • Education Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree or certification in operations management, or another relevant field.
