The Senior Manager of Executive Compensation is responsible for creating and operating successful Executive compensation programs for Lucid Motors. Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards, this position will lead the Executive Compensation function and be accountable for the leadership and oversight of executive compensation programs globally.  You should have experience developing and launching cash compensation programs, including responsibilities for pay equity, training, and influencing stakeholders. You should have outstanding partnerships with other HR partners, Talent Acquisition partners, hiring managers, and senior leaders towards rolling out and sustaining successful compensation programs. You will also need the ability to measure and manage compensation analytics to get things done. Ultimately, you will serve as the senior leader of Lucid’s Compensation function for a high-growth, dynamic organization.

You Are:

  • Provide expertise on all compensation programs globally, including base pay, incentive compensation, rewards and recognition practices, and performance management programs and systems
  • Partner with leaders in Stock Administration, Finance, and Legal to run our Employee Equity programs
  • Partner with leaders in Talent Management to run our Annual Salary and Incentive review processes
  • Manage 2-3 Compensation team members, and provide matrix leadership support to the HR Help Desk team
  • Own and maintain global job descriptions in a legally compliant manner (ADA and FLSA considerations)
  • Manage global compensation market pricing and benchmarking efforts, including identification of benchmarking solutions and participation in surveys
  • Perform research on emerging trends, issues, and best practices in compensation, using analytics to help enhance programs, processes, or incumbent-level concerns
  • Manage and monitor approved annual budgets and processes approved by Lucid’s senior leaders and/or Board
  • Develop strategies and approaches for how best to align and how best to differentiate across different employee groups at Lucid Motors
  • Communicate and influence with compelling writing skills and visual skills to engage partners and managers on compensation topics
  • You Bring:

  • 10-12+ years’ experience in Compensation team leadership 
  • 5+ years of people management
  • Experience designing and rolling out compensation programs in Canada, EU, and APAC
  • Experience establishing and overseeing external third-party relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent executive presence
  • Excellent analytical skills (Excel) and presentation skills (PPT) 
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and day-to-day operations concurrently
  • Excellent understanding of relevant and emerging U.S. compensation regulations
  • Private and public company experience preferred
  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, Finance, or relevant field, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification preferred
  • Executive and Board Compensation experience preferred but not required
