The Sr. Maintenance Engineer will report to the Sr. Director Services EMEA.
The role can be based in any of our office locations: UK (London), Netherlands (Amsterdam) or Germany (Berlin or Erlangen)

Tasks:
-        Develop a deep understanding of energy storage technology platforms and equipment and provide the Services teams with balanced and best in class maintenance routines to support their availability and revenue margin objectives
-        Apply Maintenance tools like Reliability Centered Maintenance to drive and develop maintenance plans for our EMEA Services fleet that support our Services objectives
-        Develop maintenance cost and pricing models in close cooperation with the Global Services team for different services types as well as platforms that enable our Sales team to sell Services to our customers
-        Identify the need for Services processes and procedures and document or adjust those into our Document Management System and training Services teams in applying those into their daily jobs
-        Drive continuous improvements by identifying cost and performance drivers using Services KPI’s and dashboards and lead in implementing those into our maintenance plans, processes and procedures
-        Ensure that our fleet’s equipment hierarchy and master data is captured in our CMMS to support Maintenance processes and analytics
-        Establish and maintain a sound spare parts management process using tools like criticality rating to determine the spare parts and quantities required to support our Services goals and objectives
-        Develop and optimize re-powering, augmentation and decommissioning plans that support our Services teams
-        Develop and optimize Services scope that support our Services teams to subcontract Maintenance services to maintain our fleet of assets
-        Ensuring that all operations and maintenance activities are performed in accordance with industry safety rules and regulations
-        Travel throughout EMEA

Skill Requirements
-        Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical, electrical or maintenance engineering or similar technical discipline
-        At least five year’s relevant professional work experience in the power / renewable energy / BESS industry
-        Relevant experience in Maintenance Management and tools, including CMMS
-        Ability to oversee the Services landscape and close process or procedure gaps and structure master data and maintenance plans so that they drive maintenance analytics
-        Being a structured and disciplined person with a strong process mindset
-        Ability to solve complex technical problems and effectively communicate results
-        Knowledge of local (safety) standards, codes and regulations
-        Passion and entrepreneurial drive, ability to prioritize and execute many parallel tasks
-        High level of ownership of tasks that drive Fluence business objectives
-        Strong co-ordination and communication skills
-        Effective in a highly collaborative yet informally structured work environment
-        Fluent in written and spoken English
