The Senior Supplier Integration Manager - Balance of Plant is a key member of the Supply Chain team. They are accountable for overseeing the procurement activities under the responsibility of the General Contractor in charge of the balance of plant and managing source selection and orders for procurements under CFS’ direct responsibility.
This individual’s role is to partner with the business to support the company’s long-term construction objectives through contractor and subcontractor sourcing, contract negotiations, risk mitigation and meeting schedule. This position will primarily support Plant Equipment, Equipment Installation and Construction Services categories. However, as the company requirements change, this position will be given the opportunity to support many other categories as needed.

This team member will:
Manage the decision-making process determining whether CFS or the General Contractor should be in charge of the procurement activities for new construction work packagesRun sourcing projects, coordinating cross-functionally between the construction, engineering, quality, planning and finance teamsIdentify and Develop category strategies where applicable:○ Gather and interpret technical and non-technical requirements, review statements of work ○ Conduct research, identify potential suppliers, perform benchmarking, and gather market analysisCustomize and negotiate short and long-term agreements for parts, subassemblies, finished goods, equipment, and/or services from suppliers Monitor the General Contractor, their subcontractors, and CFS’ suppliers throughout the execution of the contractsIntroduce cost savings initiatives and drive cost reduction and lead time improvement projects, and quality improvement projectsCreate purchase orders up to authorized limits and resolve blocked invoices related to assigned scopeVisit suppliers as necessary to conduct business reviews or check on manufacturing milestonesConduct advanced quantitative analysis to identify financial and schedule impacts of decisionsPerform business process analysis, develop should-cost models and gather data as a negotiating tool and to support budget development and Collaborate with stakeholders to define SLA's and KPI's for suppliers and measure the appropriate criteria, such as: delivery of business results, cost reduction, quality and timeliness of deliveryUtilize creative negotiations to maximize value and cost savings benefit while lowering riskEstablish preferred suppliers by category. Create and implement related management programs to develop, continuously improve, manage the performance of, and monitor KPIs of the supply baseSkillfully balance the price, delivery, quality, service, and value tradeoffs and rationalize the supply baseAdhere to all supply chain policies, procedures, guidelines and instructions including those regarding the procurement of materials, intellectual property, and export complianceNegotiate internally and externally at high levels or with persons of influence frequentlyThe ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of these requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field6+ years experience in Procurement or Supply ChainAt least 4 years experience in construction estimating, procurement or managementExperience in construction should cost modeling and budget trackingStrong experience negotiating contractsUnderstanding of ERP systems and MRP logic Creative negotiating skills Exceptional communications skills Strong collaboration and relationship building skills Ability to prioritize and execute tasks Works with Integrity Strong Customer Service and problem-solving skills Works well under pressure Possesses excellent judgmentAdditional preferred experience and/or qualifications:
