Your role:

Lilium is currently implementing all IT systems and solution needed to run our unique business model. For that we are looking for an Infor ERP Solution Architect.

The Infor ERP Solution Architect plays a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of Infor Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions for organizations. As an expert in cloud-based Infor ERP systems, the Solution Architect is responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to clients, project teams, and stakeholders throughout the entire lifecycle of ERP implementation projects. This role involves analysing business requirements, defining system architectures, designing solutions, overseeing implementation, and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable and efficient ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Solution Design and Architecture:
  • Collaborate with clients and business stakeholders to understand their ERP requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Design and architect end-to-end Infor ERP solutions, considering integration points, data flows, system performance, security, and scalability.
  • Create system design documents, technical specifications, and architecture diagrams to guide the development and implementation process.
  1. ERP Implementation and Configuration:
  • Lead the implementation and configuration of Infor ERP solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  • Customize and configure Infor ERP modules to meet specific business needs, including system workflows, data structures, and user interfaces.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate customizations and extensions with the Infor ERP system.
  1. Technical Leadership and Guidance:
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, including developers, analysts, and consultants, throughout the ERP implementation process.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Infor ERP systems, staying updated on the latest features, functionalities, and industry trends.
  • Conduct technical workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities to educate team members and clients on Infor ERP solutions.
  1. System Integration and Data Management:
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define and implement data integration strategies, ensuring seamless data exchange between Infor ERP and other systems.
  • Design and implement data migration plans, ensuring the accurate transfer of data from legacy systems to the Infor ERP platform.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation, system optimization, and performance enhancements.
  1. Project Management and Documentation:
  • Participate in project planning and estimation activities, providing technical insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and proactively propose solutions to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of technical designs, configurations, and project-related artifacts.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Extensive experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a focus on implementing Infor ERP solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Infor ERP systems, particularly in areas such as Infor LN, ION, Factory Track, Infor CloudSuite, and associated modules.
  • Proficient in system design, architecture principles, and best practices for ERP implementations.
  • Solid understanding of integration methodologies, data management, and system customization in an ERP context.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Project management experience and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Relevant certifications in Infor ERP systems or related technologies are a plus.

As an Infor ERP Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in implementing robust and scalable ERP solutions for organizations. Your technical expertise and strategic vision will contribute to the successful delivery of projects and the optimization of business processes.
