Our portfolio of solutions addresses the needs of various segments through a combination of hardware, software, support, and purchase models that match our customers’ goals.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Senior Product Portfolio Manager, Driver and Mobility Services you will lead the strategy to maximize ChargePoint’s solution value for all drivers and mobility services across ChargePoint verticals. The goal of this role is to deepen the ChargePoint team’s understanding of the unique customer needs across the driver and mobility services and to craft and implement strategies to increase charging adoption. The successful candidate will be analytical and structured in sharing their thinking with others as well as highly energetic and collaborative, thriving off exploring new ideas and iterating on them with input from a wide array of stakeholders to drive alignment and consensus.
In this role, you will:
Become an expert on the needs of assigned customer verticals including understanding key use cases and mapping customer journeys
Work cross-functionally within ChargePoint and with external partners to craft customer-centric vision, strategy, and business plan
Estimate market size and bring quantitative and qualitative analysis to prioritize focus areas
Analyze ChargePoint’s business model, GTM and offer structure to serve the segment; recommending how to optimize for rapid adoption, high customer satisfaction and retention.
Track market trends and competitive offerings
Build relationships with customers, partners, and other industry stakeholders to drive product direction and ensure capabilities meet market needs and customer goals
Utilize expertise of business strategy, financial modeling, business data analysis, and customer discovery to define the solution vision and inform product planning and development
Develop partnerships across the ecosystem where needed to support ChargePoint’s solution portfolio
Support the sales and marketing teams to position solutions for particular customer verticals
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
A minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, consulting, business development or corporate strategy roles
Strong Excel, Tableau, and other data analysis and financial modeling skills
Excellent ability to synthesize data and represent it clearly and simply for executives, customers and other stakeholders to drive decision making
Experience with identifying partnership opportunities, creating relationships and negotiating partnership agreements
Experience with customer discovery, customer journey mapping and market requirements gathering
Experience with market sizing and estimating the TAM of segments and solutions
Intellectual curiosity, energy and enthusiasm for the customer and business problems to solve
Ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently and chart direction of projects/programs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple and diverse stakeholders across businesses and leadership levels
Strong organizational skills, ability to execute in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
Excellent cross- functional team player.
B.S., experience in financial, economic or energy modelling and/or MBA or equivalent is preferred
Passion for emerging markets, the EV space, and associated trends
Bonus: Strong understanding and experience in eMSP business models for EV charging
Location
Munich, DE or UK, or NL - Remote with high involvement with team members in US Pacific, Eastern and European time zones
