We are looking for an experienced Director of U.S. Project Delivery to lead the delivery of RHB’s (Rondo Heat Batteries) for U.S. customers. The Vice President will play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of our projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest quality standards. This role requires a proven track record in front-end engineering design, project management, leadership, and a deep understanding of the construction industry.

What You Will Do (key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to):

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for the delivery of energy storage projects from FEED and permitting to commissioning. Develop and communicate a clear project vision, strategy, and objectives
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of project managers, engineers, and construction professionals. Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Ensure alignment with overall corporate goals
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Implement strategies to maintain project schedules and budgets while minimizing risks
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including sales, engineering, supply chain, finance and legal departments as well as clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities. Act as a primary point of contact for clients
  • Champion a culture of safety and quality, ensuring that all projects adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to the executive team and key stakeholders. Provide insights into project performance and recommendations for improvement
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project delivery process, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency, quality and lower cost

 

What You Will Bring:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the engineering or construction industries
  • Experience in a fast-paced start-up environment deploying novel technologies on large scale is highly desirable
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget
  • Experience executing pre-FEED and FEED, permitting, construction and commissioning of complex projects is highly valued
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
