The Role:

The Customer Activation Manager will coordinate and execute customer marketing plans to drive growth for Meati’s rapidly growing Foodservice business.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual marketing, merchandising, and promotion calendar
  • Develop and lead the effective execution of digital marketing, promotions, trade shows and marketing collateral to achieve growth objectives
  • Lead/participate in key customer planning meetings and training
  • Continuously measure effectiveness and ROI of initiatives and apply learning in ongoing strategies and plans
  • Foster cross-functional engagement with internal and external partners through effective written and oral communication capabilities, a customer service attitude, a highly organized work process, and a "can-do" attitude with internal partners
  • Travel for customer meetings and trade shows
  • Manage a team 3-5 region field managers responsible for: field marketing, merchandising, and sales support
  • Drive execution of field priorities, sales/demo goals, and reporting of team
  • Manage a divisional budget for: product, supplies, travel
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all supplemental 3rd party demo agencies
  • Manage a secret shopping program
  • Take lead on planning sampling execution/setup of tradeshows (foodservice and retail)
  • Sourcing/Managing event sponsorship pump opportunities (mostly in-kind + cash)
  • Provide in field training/support in each field manager

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Marketing/Business related field
  • 5+ years of related experience in marketing creating, leading and executing digital marketing, promotions, trade shows and marketing collateral to achieve growth objectives. Digital experience a plus.
  • 2-5 years of team management
  • Strong analytical, project, time management, collaboration, and communication skills essential
  • Motivated by challenges with a robust sense of curiosity.
  • Must be able to function in an independent fashion, owning responsibility by driving decisions and possessing a high degree of accountability.
  • Ability to manage a field team of 3-5 managers across a larger geography
  • Ability to recruit/hire/train/motivate a team.
  • Creating weekly/monthly incentives/programs to drives demo performance
  • Energetic and excited about natural food and helping to build brands.
  • Must be highly organized and have strong attention to detail.

Preferred:

  • Experience at a consumer-packaged goods company.
  • Experience with customer marketing in the Foodservice, Fast Casual/Quick-Serve restaurant space

Compensation:

Range is $108,000 - $148,000, including a potential annual bonus and equity. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Successful applicants for this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment. Vaccine verification will be required prior to the start of employment at Meati.
