Rainmaker provides water for farms, watersheds, and ecosystems, fortifying growth and stewarding the natural world. We are Making Earth Habitable.
Rainmaker is pioneering a modern cloud seeding system to solve water scarcity and inclement weather problems. We develop and incorporate radar validation, weather-resistant UAS, numerical weather modeling, and sustainable cloud seeds into an effective precipitation enhancement solution.
We are seeking our first dedicated security engineer to establish and implement our security program as we scale our cloud seeding operations globally.
The Role
You'll build security into the foundation of our systems as we expand from early operations to global deployment. This role combines hands-on technical work with program development, requiring someone who can both configure firewalls and write security policies. As our first security hire, you'll own the setup of foundational InfoSec and IT infrastructure. You'll secure everything from our atmospheric modeling infrastructure to our fleet of autonomous aircraft.
When applying, please share examples of security programs or initiatives you've built, particularly in organizations with distributed infrastructure or operational technology.
