What You Will Be Doing

  • Developing and executing test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure high-quality deliverables for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) implementations.
  • Performing functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across SFCC storefronts and backend workflows.
  • Validating API integrations with third-party systems, including payment gateways, Order Management Systems (OMS), and ERP platforms.
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, while collaborating closely with developers to drive timely resolutions.
  • Actively participating in Agile ceremonies and helping define and improve QA best practices for SFCC projects.
  • Ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Staying up to date with the latest SFCC features, releases, and industry best practices to continuously improve testing processes.

 

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

  • Proven experience testing e-commerce platforms, with a strong understanding of e-commerce workflows such as product catalog management, pricing, inventory, payment flows , and order management systems (OMS).
  • Hands-on experience testing SFDC sales cloud, Experience cloud, SFCC-based solutions, including B2C and/or B2B commerce implementations, with familiarity in headless and composable commerce architectures.
  • Extensive experience working in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices, including participation in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to develop comprehensive test scenarios and ensure functional stability.
  • Strong communication skills to work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to align testing efforts with business goals.
  • Capability to identify risks, edge cases, and potential issues in the QA process, proposing solutions to improve product stability.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2-3 years specifically focused on testing Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) implementations.
  • Manual Testing: Proficiency in creating and executing detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and cross-browser/device testing on SFCC platforms.
  • Automation Testing: Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Cucumber for automating UI and backend testing, including API testing with tools like Postman. Familiarity with Java or JavaScript for scripting is often preferred.
  • API and Integration Testing: Ability to validate data flows and integrations (e.g., APIs, third-party services like ERP, CRM, or payment gateways) using tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
  • CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Copado for test automation integration.
  • Defect Management: Proficiency in tracking, documenting, and managing bugs using tools like JIRA or similar platforms, collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
  • Web Technologies: Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and XML to support testing of SFCC storefronts and integrations.
  • Cross-Browser/Device Testing: Experience ensuring compatibility across multiple browsers (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari) and devices (desktop, mobile, tablet) using tools like BrowserStack.
  • SFCC Architecture: In-depth understanding of SFCC architecture, including data models, customizations, and extensions.
  • Salesforce CPQ Expertise: Knowledge and experience in CPQ features like product rules, pricing, quote templates, discounts and approval workflows.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Ecosystem: Knowledge of other Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud) and their integration with SFCC is highly desirable.
  • SOQL/SOSL: Knowledge of SOQL/SOSL for test data creation and validation
  • Domain Knowledge: Experience in retail, B2C, or B2B e-commerce domains, with familiarity in areas like site merchandising, promotions, or payment processing.
