What You Will Be Doing

ChargePoint is hiring a Roaming Analyst who will be a key contributor in the finance team at a high-energy, growth environment. This individual will be responsible for key functions within the Company’s Roaming cycle and must be able to partner with internal and external customers. The ideal candidate must be highly analytical and inquisitive with strong attention to detail and should be able to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that is extremely demanding and deadline driven. The ideal candidate will love getting “hands on,” yet also see the big picture, be able to communicate articulately, possess very good problem-solving skills and is a process-oriented individual who is also flexible and thrives in a demanding startup setting. The role will be evaluated based on payment accuracy and efficiency as measured by key performance indicators, as well as feedback from the team and business

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

• Own the monthly and ad hoc Roaming reconciliations for North American and EU.
• Process bills and payments to Roaming partners
• Process invoices to Roaming partners and lead collection efforts
• Review Roaming partner record setups for proper details and banking information requirements
• Resolve any returned or failed payments promptly while performing data entry updates to the billing system
• Perform monthly Roaming revenue and cost accrual calculations and journal entries
• Draft and issue communications to the business and Roaming vendors, including errors, escalation, process changes and schedule updates
• Maintain key performance indicators and utilize these to drive improvement and efficiency
• Strong work ethic with the ability and flexibility to work extended hours during critical periods such as quarter and year-end remittance deadlines
• Evaluate existing processes and evaluate opportunities to automate and drive efficiency
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, and internal control policies and procedures

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• NetSuite experience required
• Proficient in time management and workload efficiency skills
• Must be detail-oriented, work well in a dynamic environment, work independently, handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and have excellent organizational skills
• Maintain confidentiality in all assignments and in all information obtained
• Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Ability to identify areas of opportunities and drive improvements cross-functionally.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft business suite, specifically excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization both internally and externally
• Highly motivated and results oriented work ethic
• Bachelor’s/Associate’s degree preferred
