Under the responsibility of the VP Sales and Marketing,  the Regional Sales Lead will have the main mission of developing business in accordance with the company's commercial strategy. Position location is listed as North Carolina, but open to someone living within a state that boarders the US/Canadian line near a major airport.  Travel will during the season be up to 60% of the time including international travel between USA and Canada. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Drive demand at end-use level via planning of local field days, active participation in trade relevant conferences, shows and other farm-level initiatives
  • Maintain and expand relationships with key opinion leaders and scientific partners
  • Develop relationships with key associations and institutions
  • Follow technical and scientific programs in the area in close collaboration with the technical team
  • Plan and implement product training for customers
  • Report market trends, customers’ requests and propose products’ improvements and ideas for new products and services.
  • Negotiate offers and contracts with key accounts
  • Drive the annual planning cycle with key accounts
  • Reach annual budget goals through sales to new customers and growth with existing customer
  • Assist with new product development and pre-launch/launch activities in the region

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor in agronomy or ag-related/relevant field
  • Previous sales experience, giving presentations, negotiating, and meeting sales goal expectations
  • Approximately 5 year’s experience
  • Valid Driver’s License and either Canadian or US Passport required for position
  • Must live within the Northern part of the USA, PNW or bordering Canadian provinces
