We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Leader to build and manage Pivot Bio’s success on a defined regional basis. As a key member of our Commercial team this role will be responsible for leading the regional sales efforts, employee development, and channel partners management while also bringing timely on-the-ground perspective about product supply management and achievement of contribution margin targets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Territory Sales Managers to achieve company and individual goals.
- Analyze and communicate market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and capture synergies for continuous improvement.
- Organize and coordinate cross functional alignment between other key business groups (i.e. Commercial Agronomy, Product Development, Finance, Marketing, Communications and Manufacturing/Supply Chain).
- Creation, management, and implementation of a 2–5-year business planning, forecasting and budget management process.
- Foster strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring rep satisfaction and grower retention.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
- 10+ years of experience in agriculture sector with 5+ years of people management
- Strong understanding of financial aspects of an organization, marketing strategy, effective forecasting methods, ag inputs, and diverse application practices, including in-furrow and seed treatment processes.
- Customer oriented, with a demonstrated ability to respect and earn the respect of industry leaders and channel partners.
- Demonstrated track record of effective working relationships with channel partners.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter, reliable and able to work independently
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% within assigned area.
