Project Manager, Integrated Labs
Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 60 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

What You’ll Do:
As the Integrated Labs Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to organize and lead software/hardware integration efforts and formal test events in the Archer Integrated Labs. You will use your technical background and leadership abilities to coordinate efforts between Systems Engineering, Design Engineering, Flight Test and Lab Infrastructure teams, making priority calls on lab usage, in order to achieve crucial company milestones. This position is within the Aircraft Integration Program Management team, which is responsible for a broad spectrum of activities touching every aspect of Aircraft design, build and test. The team, and Archer as a whole, is rapidly expanding, providing many opportunities to learn new skills and advance your career.
- Work with engineering teams to develop and refine integration and test plans, taking into account potentially complex interdependencies
- Work with Lab Scheduler to assign time slots to the various teams
- When roadblocks arise, coordinate between teams to clear as soon as possible
- Prioritize and deconflict lab activities to most efficiently make progress towards company milestones (with leadership guidance)
- Gather metrics and report status of lab activities
- Lead continuous improvement of lab processes and tools
- Learn technical aspects of the Aircraft Systems to enhance fidelity of future planning and better assist with roadblock resolution
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or in a related field or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a technical role.
- Project Management or Project Engineering experience.
- Familiarization with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or other scheduling software.
- Ability to react to resets and constant changes in a demanding, time-sensitive environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of, and experience with system engineering principles.
- Thorough understanding of engineering product development including design phases, manufacturing processes and global supply chain management.
- Familiarization with Atlassian Jira and Confluence for task management and collaborative documentation.

For this position we are targeting a base pay between $172,800 - 215,000 Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
