Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Harbinger Motors. As the Production Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the manufacturing process to ensure vehicles are produced with the highest level of quality while maintaining a safe work environment.

What You’ll Do:

Lead and manage a team of technicians, ensuring that they adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and production schedules.

Collaborate with the production team to develop and implement strategies for improving production processes, reducing costs, and optimizing resource utilization.

Monitor daily production activities to ensure targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.

Plan and organize production schedules to optimize workflow and minimize downtime, coordinating with other departments as necessary.

Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, scrap, and other relevant metrics. Generate regular reports for management review.

Identify and troubleshoot production issues, providing feedback to the engineering team on potential solutions.

Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment, conducting regular safety meetings and ensuring all staff adhere to safety guidelines.

Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide feedback on product design and suggest improvements for manufacturability and efficiency.

Drive Lean Manufacturing principles throughout the production process, striving for continuous process improvement and waste reduction.

Participate in cross-functional meetings to communicate production updates, challenges, and opportunities for collaboration.

Who You Are:

Proven experience as a production supervisor or in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse production team.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.

Problem-solving mindset with the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
