Product Manager, Vulcan

ICON is looking for a Product Manager, Vulcan to manage all things related to the product under the Vulcan umbrella. As the Product Manager at ICON, you will be responsible for managing and guiding our product along our roadmap to further ICON’s mission of making dignified housing accessible to everyone and advance humanity with our technology. This role is based at ICON’s Austin, TX lab and will report to the VP of Product, Vulcan, Magma & Lavacrete out of our Austin, TX office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define cohesive user-centric product vision and experience, 
• Define product goals and related metrics
• Develop the strategy/roadmap to achieve these goals, and lead its execution to completion by driving alignment across teams cross functionally
• Collaborate with your internal teams and leverage their knowledge and creativity in order to develop and implement solutions
• Develop scalable solutions that provide value both now and as we continue to grow in the future

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in a similar or related role.
• Experience working in a fast paced environment, preferably a startup.
• Track record of leading the launch of new products or features to users.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive alignment across large organizations.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Robotics product experience is a plus.
• Previous start-up experience, and/or a resourceful innovative nature with an ability to streamline or develop efficient processes.
• Demonstrated ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly and to lead technical teams.
• Ability to prioritize and stay cool in a dynamic start-up environment.
• A hunger for learning and personal growth.
