We are looking for a Procurement Operations Analyst to support purchasing activities to enable a diverse team of engineers to build a world-changing product to decarbonize our vital industrial sectors. You will be highly organized, reliable, and become an expert to train, guide, and execute on purchasing workflows across the company. You will actively maintain databases, document and communicate evolving policies, and develop and maintain positive, productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors alike.

You will be work onsite at either our office in San Carlos, CA or San Jose, CA and report to our Indirect Procurement Manager.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Support procure-to-pay (P2P) workflows for goods and services as part of a centralized procurement team using modern tools and platforms
  • Work with team members to review and process their purchase requests, place approved purchase orders with external vendors, engage externally to ensure an order's status is known, and confirm goods receipts when needed
  • Regularly update our internal databases with new prospective suppliers, vendors, contacts, contracts, credit accounts, and other information to inform sourcing decisions
  • Work in partnership with the Accounting team on resolving any missed or late payments and addresses any root cause in our processes
  • Support team members on their early engagements with new vendors by ensuring the preferred contracts, namely NDAs, are executed and archived
  • Support new vendor enrollment workflows and the establishment of credit accounts
  • Support ad hoc projects related to capital equipment purchases, general & administrative purchases, and other procurement needs of the business

 

Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in a procurement, purchasing, or administrative role
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and longer-term projects while communicating progress and issues encountered
  • Maintain high standards for correctness of all commercial documents and business information
  • Familiarity with web-based software tools as well as purchasing and accounting systems

Compensation and Benefits | P2

San Carlos Zone
$80,000$106,000 USD

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​
