Electric Hydrogen is looking for a proven communications leader to bring our transformational, low-cost electrolytic hydrogen solution to the center of the energy and climate dialogues. You will develop and adapt the Electric Hydrogen narrative in response to industry changes landscape and conversation. It will build campaigns with our executives to deliver and reinforce the message through media, content marketing, and speaking opportunities. You will accelerate the growth of the emerging green hydrogen industry and will put Electric Hydrogen at the center of the dialogue.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and polish the global company narrative

  • Identify creative, strategic opportunities to adapt and push out Electric Hydrogen's narrative in coordination with company executives

  • Develop audience-specific messaging framework for priority partners and industry influencers

  • Create and produce compelling collateral and engagement programs to reach priority audiences

  • Lead rapid-response messaging and strategy for quickly evolving industry developments

  • Create and manage programs to capture the quality of earned media coverage, message pull through and tonality and benchmark against the competition

  • Manage the company's external PR agencies to obtain maximum value

  • Coordinate with communications leads from other industry partners to guide consensus on topics of mutual importance

  • Ability to work odd hours as required for time-sensitive topics

 

PRIOR EXPERIENCE AND PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES

  • 7+ years of strategic communications experience working with executives

  • Specific experience at an energy company or fast-growing technology/manufacturing start-up

  • Experience managing communications in multiple countries

  • Some travel required

  • BA/BS degree in Communications, Marketing or Engineering

  • Passionate about clean energy and decarbonization

  • Strong relationships in the clean energy communications landscape (e.g.: media, investor groups, policymakers, think tanks etc.)

$180,000$215,000 USD

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​

Base salary is just one part of Electric Hydrogen’s total rewards package. We feel strongly that our team should not have to worry about having quality healthcare. In addition to the base salary offered, the hired applicant may receive:​
