Print Supervisor

ICON is seeking a Print Supervisor to manage several print teams and printer suits as they work in the field to construct 3D printed structures. Our ideal candidate has experience leading teams of people from diverse backgrounds and pushing them to execute in challenging circumstances. To succeed in this role, you should have deep experience in the execution of projects using large scale robotics and leading large teams that maintain, mobilize, and deliver in the field. This role reports to the Director of Print Operations on our Austin, TX campus. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Selecting and develop new team members.
• Lead teams in the field in executing complex construction projects.
• Ensure the safety of all team members during both daily operations and unique operations.
• Ensure quality standards are being met throughout the entire print process and ensure no defects are leaving your stations or areas
• Track employee performance and hours across multiple schedules and projects.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, project management, and other disciplines to ensure your team always has up to date knowledge and procedure.
• Develop & maintain standardized printing instructions used in the printing assembly for new and existing team members.
• Always be learning about the technical knowledge involved with 3D Printed Construction and maintain expertise in execution.
• Ability to work with and develop printing performance metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput, costs).
• Professionally communicate to your team and the organization successes and failures early and often.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience working in a construction, manufacturing, or similar operational environment. 
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership position.
• Proficient with common Microsoft Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, for long periods of time, between printing sites across the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated experience in planning and leading large-scale projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated collaboration with engineering and operations functions.
