We are looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design of the battery module in Form Energy’s long-duration energy storage system. This role will be responsible for mechanical architecture trade studies, component design, and cost analysis, and will focus on converting a conceptual design into a detailed mechanical design, with emphasis on design for manufacture and assembly. You will have deep experience in mechanical design for production and be comfortable working in multi-disciplinary technical teams. You enjoy finding creative solutions to mechanical design challenges, bring experience designing for a breadth of manufacturing techniques, and execute rigorous design processes to ensure product success.
The salary range for this role is $211,140-$260,475. The range listed is what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and may be modified in the future. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
