We are headquartered in Seattle, but are open to remote location depending on role and if a candidate resides in a state we currently employ in.

The Role
As a People Operations Generalist for Omnidian, you will handle a broad range of People Operations  duties, owning administration of various functions and ensuring smooth and efficient operations across all HR functions. Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, you will play an integral role in elevating Omnidian’s company culture through passionate and engaged teams and an amazing employee experience.

What You'll Do

  • At Omnidian we believe in trust and autonomy. How you create an impact is ultimately up to you. Here is an outline of some of the things you’ll be doing
  • People Operations 
  • Partner closely with the Head of People and Culture, People Business Partner, and the Director of Talent to share information and collaborate on meaningful people programs
  • Own the employee benefits program administration and general employee support
  • Own the employee leave and sabbatical process and administration
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding process 
  • Assist in implementation and update of human resource policies
  • Administer our semi-annual performance review process
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with labor regulations and employment laws 
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times both internally and externally
  • Candidate and Employee Experience
  • Lead various trainings and meetings including new hire orientation, new hire welcomes, employee check-ins and employee exits
  • Collaborate on creative and innovative solutions to talent acquisition and team engagement programs
  • Assist in the hiring process through scheduling interviews and checking references
  • Organize logistics for summits, training events, and candidate travel and ensure COVID-19 safety compliance
  • Work with our local captains to support our Summer Solstice and other gatherings
  • Coordinate the sustainable procurement and distribution of Omnidian Pride shirts for Pride month

  • Experience You’ll Need

  • 2+ years of experience as a HR Coordinator, Generalist or similar role 
  • Experience with scheduling or calendar management 
  • Proficient with applicant tracking systems and HRIS
  • Proficient with G-Suite and Excel
  • Diversity, equity and inclusion training or experience
  • Experience That’s a Plus

  • 3+ years of experience as a HR Coordinator, Generalist or similar role, owning administration for multiple functions (ex: benefits, compensation, performance management) 
  • Project management experience
  • Intermediate knowledge or above in Excel
  • Solid understanding of federal and multi-state employment laws and compliance knowledge
  • Established track record of advancing DEI work in companies or communities
