Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Planning & Control Team Lead to join our dynamic team, reporting to the HO PP&C. As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for planning and steering production activities, enabling the development of the serial aircraft in close collaboration with the design organization. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the Lilium Production Planning & Control set-up as we progress towards high-volume production.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of operations planning and control professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentoring.
  • Collaborate closely with the design organization to ensure smooth coordination and alignment between production and aircraft development.
  • Utilize ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) tools to ensure data integrity and support current and future IT infrastructure needs.
  • Develop and implement production planning strategies and processes to optimize efficiency and meet production targets.
  • Oversee day-to-day operational issues, promptly identifying and addressing challenges, and escalating them through appropriate business channels.
  • Proactively seek opportunities for cost optimization and demonstrate a cost-saving mentality within the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in operations planning and control

Business Experience / Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in operations planning and control within a manufacturing or aerospace industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in utilizing ERP and APS tools for production planning and data management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments and levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results.

IT Skills
