CFS is seeking a highly motivated NDT supervisor to lead a team of talented NDT technicians responsible for ensuring the quality of critical welds and materials for use in the SPARC project. The successful candidate will be an excellent cross-functional communicator, who is operationally minded in their approach.
The candidate shall have a technical background in the application non-destructive techniques, and experience leading technicians in the execution of non-destructive examinations in a time-sensitive environment.

This team member will:
Direct supervision of a team of NDT technicians across multiple shifts to safely conduct NDT operationsAssist in the creation and maintenance of NDT related work instructions and SOPsTrain NDT technicians on operational procedures and ensure day-to-day procedure complianceManage the daily priorities of the NDT technician teamRepresent the NDT team at daily operations tier meetingsEnsure NDT needs for operations team are consistently metMaintain a skills matrix for NDT technicians, ensuring all personnel remain qualified to perform work per CFS filings and state regulatory standardsMaintain a close relationship with key stakeholders, including the CFS radiation safety team, operations, and supply chainOversee timely calibration and maintenance of all NDT equipmentMaintain oversight of SPARC construction sub-contractors for welding and NDT activitiesServe as a working supervisor, performing various NDT inspections when requiredHold regular 1 on 1’s with direct reports and key stakeholdersThe ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of these requirements:
High school diploma10+ years as an industrial radiographer5+ years of supervisory experienceDemonstrated experience leading a culture of safetyLevel II certifications in RT, PT, and VTAdditional preferred experience and/or qualifications:
Dimensional inspection experienceExperience serving as a lead or assistant RSOExperience supporting external customersLevel II certs in addition NDT disciplinesExperience supervising two or three shiftsExperience developing new procedures or techniques to support customer needsExperience working the nuclear industryAbility to occasionally lift up to 50 lbsPerform activities such as stooping, climbing, typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of timeDedication to safety to mitigate hazards that may include heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead, high voltage, and cryogenicsWillingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionally#LI-Onsite
