As a Mechanical Engineer at Moxion you’ll drive program level designs and prototype fabrications for High Voltage product design solutions. Utilizing standard analyses and modeling you’ll develop innovative solutions to program requirements and needs. This is a unique opportunity to support a fast-paced design team to bring high voltage solutions from concept through prototyping to production for the transportation market.
Pay Equity
Moxion is committed to the principle of pay equity – paying employees equitably for substantially similar work. Compensation displayed is a range. Maximum amounts are reserved for those candidates that exceed all experience and background requirements. We reserve the right to offer compensation based on level of experience. Moxion has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay within the San Francisco Bay area. If you live outside that region, the range is subject to change.
Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within the range provided above. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.

What you’ll do:
Conceptual and detailed engineering of HV systems, components and assembliesPerform, present and support gated design reviews with both internal staff, as well as with suppliers at specific times in the design lifecycle of componentsDevelop innovative solutions to customer requirements for High Voltage component Work as part of a team of engineers to bring prototype and production designs to serial productionDrive designs of components such as plastic molded parts, sheet metal, extrusion parts, stamped parts and machine partsComplete analysis, research, and solution of low to moderate technical issuesDevelop technical specifications, validation plans, simulation and tests boundary conditions and interpret results, drive DFMEAProvide design recommendations and/or solutions to Engineering team membersUnderstand approve and apply geometric and form dimensioning and tolerancing calculations of multiple part assembliesSkills to be successful:
