We are looking for an exceptional undergraduate student to join Vertical Aerospace for 12 months as a Mechanical Design Intern. Vertical is one the world’s leading eVTOL businesses, and a pioneer of this ground-breaking new segment, which marks the beginning of sustainable aviation. The role will be located at our Camwal Court office in Bristol.
The Role:
The Fluid and Mechanical Systems team are looking for a sandwich year intern, working towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering, to join the team for a one year internship.
The team is responsible for the design of the landing gear, actuation, mechanical and cooling systems on our prototype aircraft and development programmes. The internship role will be working within the existing team and will include opportunities to produce 3D and 2D design in CAD (CATIA V6), to support the build and flight test of our aircraft and conduct development work needed for our certification programme.
