What You Will Be Doing:
Helion is hiring a Material Handler to support production, research and development, new products. We are seeking a professional with 2+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment. You will report to the Inventory Control Manager at our Everett, WA location.
- Collaborate with Production, Operations, and Engineering about movement of parts to support our operations
- Maintain clean, organized storage locations across the shipping, receiving, and storage areas
- Verify all materials are packaged and banded for transport
- Help load and unload trucks
- Work with Shipping and Receiving, Procurement, Finance, and other related departments to resolve problems related to receipt and distribution of material
- Update material storage locations inside our ERP software
- Operate material handling equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts
- Support first shift operating from 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of related experience
- Forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift / carry 75 lbs.
- Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the responsibilities of this position
- Must be willing to work in an open-aired environment, lacking temperature controls
- Can work overtime and/or weekends when needed
The pay range for this position is $22-28/hour. This pay range may be inclusive of several career levels and will be narrowed based on several factors, including the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
