Zignal is looking for a Marketing Generalist to join Zignal’s Marketing team. The primary job of the Marketing Generalist is to support the production of core assets for Zignal’s product marketing, corporate marketing, and sales enablement work. The ideal candidate has experience in graphic design, video editing, data/intelligence analysis, and project management; experience working for and/or with public sector organizations is a plus.

The Marketing Generalist will be an integral part of a collaborative and high-performing Marketing team, and will be responsible for supporting the production, design, editing, publication, distribution, and measurement of standalone and coordinated packages of assets. Assets may include videos, one-pagers, short- and long-form reports, slide decks, animations, website materials, and more.

The Marketing Generalist will be expected to quickly ramp up on Zignal’s platform and larger technology suite, leveraging their expertise to support asset production - from writing first drafts of comprehensible sales materials to developing basic data analyses for intelligence briefs to proactively tracking emerging narratives related to both the company and larger trends.

In short, successful candidates will have the ability to use a wide suite of tools to turn existing, raw materials and copy into distributable, easily-understandable, and visually stunning assets that will be used to support Zignal’s broader marketing and sales efforts.

The Marketing Generalist will also be responsible for contributing to activities crucial to supporting ongoing Marketing and sales enablement work, including asset organization, and distribution, measurement and activity tracking, website and tool maintenance, and vendor coordination.

The ideal candidate is methodological, energetic, detail-oriented, and self-driven, with a keen eye for clean, consistent, and minimalistic design. You can work effectively and diplomatically with multiple internal and external stakeholders, balance competing priorities, learn how to leverage new tools and processes on the fly, and deliver outputs according to strict timelines, with a strong sense of accountability. Excellent communication skills, adaptability, creative problem solving, and a strong sense of accountability are a must.
