The company is eliminating the barriers of cost and space through its breakthrough modular CycloneCC technology, which cuts the total installed cost and overall physical footprint by up to 50% compared with conventional solutions. 

The Manager of QA will oversee implementation and compliance to ISO 9001 standard across the Company and will lead Supplier Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for direct goods and services.

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes

  • Leads the development, implementation, auditing and continual improvement of the ISO9001 Quality Management System (QMS) throughout all company activity groups
  • Provides quality leadership and support in the development and launch of new products, processes and services and ensures adherence to ISO9001 QMS
  • Develops and implement a Quality Assurance (QA) organizational structure capable of supporting strategic business plans
  • Design and implement QA training programs and conducts relevant trainings to increase awareness and capability throughout the organization
  • Defines the Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) operating standards and leads the supplier qualification, auditing and risk assessment throughout the supplier onboarding process
  • Provides leadership and works in partnership with both Strategic Sourcing and Procurement to create and deliver a SQA strategy that meets operations & business plans
  • Leads the development and implementation of Quality Control (QC) plans for all supplier goods and equipment and ensures adherence to inspection and test plans, standards and acceptance criteria. Works in partnership with Engineering and Project Delivery teams.
  • Defines and oversee adherence to problem solving process. Leads NCR reporting and provides support to stakeholders participating in problem solving activities
  • Defines QA, SQA and QC metrics, sets SMART goals and ensures performance targets are met
  • Develop and implement a Supplier Development process, including assessment of suppliers manufacturing capacity and related development plans

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should have a combination of the below knowledge, skills, and experience:

 

  • Relevant bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • Lead ISO9001 auditor qualification or extensive experience with ISO9001 internal auditing
  • Experience in Quality Assurance and leading a supply quality team in a industrial manufacturing set up
  • Demonstrated knowledge of global QMS standards and implementation track record
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills and capability to build strong relationships both internally and externally to the company
  • Positive, calm and can-do attitude. Able to guide multi disciplinary teams to finding pragmatic resolutions to conflicting quality priorities, especially when working under considerable time and delivery pressure.
  • Demonstrated track record building organizations that drive results in the area of QA, QC and continuous improvement with equipment supply and/or in a manufacturing environment
  • Experienced with application of quality tools, six sigma and manufacturing methodologies
  • Capability to work effectively in a matrix organization and partnering mindset
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast paced and exponentially growing industry
