In this role, you will:
Lead and develop a team of industrial engineers focused on efficient warehouse and manufacturing operations. Oversee lineside layouts, equipment planning, and material flow considerations.Partner closely with cross-functional teams during new product launches to ensure smooth coordination of logistics operations. Serve as a liaison to align communication, timelines, and operational requirements.Identify and drive process improvements that reduce cost and increase efficiency. Lead initiatives involving lean practices, automation, and technology adoption.Analyze material flow to uncover bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Implement strategies that reduce lead times, improve throughput, and optimize inventory levels.Define and maintain KPIs to measure logistics performance and effectiveness. Track progress and provide visibility to leadership.Translate company goals into operational objectives for the team. Promote productivity, collaboration, and integration within the broader organization.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in logistics or industrial engineering within a manufacturing or distribution environment. Automotive or production launch experience is preferred.Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams. Able to coach, delegate, and drive accountability.Strong expertise in warehouse design, material flow optimization, and new product introduction environments. Experience supporting layout planning and operational readiness.Proficiency with industrial engineering tools and methods, including lean principles, time studies, material and process mapping, and simulation. CAD skills, preferably AutoCAD, required.Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Able to influence stakeholders and deliver measurable operational improvements.Bonus Qualifications
