Our approach to service remains as innovative as the vehicles we produce.&nbsp;</span></span><span class="eop"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;">&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p class="paragraph" style="margin: 0in; vertical-align: baseline;"><span class="normaltextrun"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;">&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p class="paragraph" style="margin: 0in; vertical-align: baseline;"><span class="normaltextrun"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;">In this role, you will partner with the leadership teams of various departments throughout Rivian to ensure alignment with the objective of driving and capturing process adoption. You will grow and manage a team that will partner closely with: Field Operations, Service Parts, Service Engineering/Quality, Service Support, Mobile Service, Roadside, Delivery, and Digital Products. Your team will be responsible for being the absolute the subject matter experts on what resources are available to each of Rivian’s Service Centers. You will ensure that your team regularly engages with each of our service locations so that our field teams have the support they need and that the resources put in place achieve the maximum impact.</span></span><span class="eop"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;">&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p class="paragraph" style="margin: 0in; vertical-align: baseline;"><span class="normaltextrun"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;">&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p class="paragraph" style="margin: 0in; vertical-align: baseline;"><span class="normaltextrun"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;">You will be required to budget and manage your team’s travel throughout North America and Europe to ensure that your team supports our service team to deliver a superior customer experience.</span></span><span class="eop"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;">&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <div> <ul> <li>Experienced manager who has performed in both direct leadership roles and roles that require influence without authority</li> <li>Build, support, and coach a regionally remote team that will be high performing, operations focused and motivating</li> <li>Create a program to capture and rate completion of training with the ultimate goal of partnership&nbsp;</li> <li>Deep understanding of both Field Service and the programs designed to enable the field team</li> <li>Understand the ‘why’ behind each program strategy developed while simultaneously keeping an open mind to the reality in the field</li> <li>Confident leading a team in an ever-changing environment</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and comfortable sending and training to large groups of teams, typically remote from your location</li> <li>Ability to build a program from the ground up to incorporate aspects of training, analytics, leadership and be able to produce root cause findings and present solutions</li> <li>Anticipate obstacles and resource constraints and partner with team to determine ways for optimal performance</li> <li>Willingness to be responsible for a region while the program expands&nbsp;</li> </ul> </div> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Willing to travel up to 75% of the time within your region as well as to other offices as needed</li> <li>5+ years of program/project management experience</li> <li>Extensive experience building program documentation and communicating changes in process at all levels</li> <li>Capable of building trust with a focus on problem solving while adhering to set standards and operating procedures</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication</li> <li>Success leading a remote team and able to demonstrate accountability while interacting with many stakeholders</li> <li>Ability to be empathetic in nature with a passion for acquiring and sharing knowledge</li> <li>Experience with automotive</li> <li>Experience with coaching or teaching a bonus</li> </ul> <p>Location: Service Centers on and around the Bay Area and Northwest, based out of Palo Alto, CA</p><div class="content-conclusion"><h4>Equal Opportunity</h4> <p>Rivian is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
