What you’ll do:

Position: Logistics Specialist. Full time. Reports to the Logistics Manager
Manages all warehousing activities, including but not limited to inbound deliveries coordination, receipts, inventory control, picking, packing, outbound shipments. Manages the receiving and shipping areas and ensures the safe storage of parts in warehousing areas
Responsible for the on time and on quality record of warehousing transactions in Archer ERP system, aiming to provide the right level of inventory accuracy to the business
Participates in the creation and implementation of short, medium-term goals for the Logistics team. Participates in the creation and/or continuous improvement of Logistics processes, aiming to promote effectiveness, efficiency, and data accuracy
Achieves or exceeds goals in terms of Logistics performance, including but not limited to On time and on quality receipts, Inventory accuracy, On time and on quality picking and shipping
Participate as needed in the development and implementation of Archer ERP system
Participate as needed in the development and implementation of Archer logistics network

What you need:

3 years of related experience in Aerospace and/or automotive industry
3 years of related experience in domestic and international transportation management
Effective organizational and time management skills
Ability to communicate in a professional business manner, both in writing and verbally. High attention to details is required
Strong computer skills. Experience handling logistics in an ERP driven environment. WMS / TMS experience is a plus
Ability to work in a fast paced and highly regulated environment with adaptability to changing priorities
Strong team player
Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted. Must be able to distinguish colors

Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent is required

Bonus Qualifications:

BS degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business
Ability to operate a forklift
Experience with shipping and handling of Dangerous Goods

At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business. We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $66,000 - $83,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
