What You Will Be Doing:

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the movement of goods and materials throughout our supply chain. This includes overseeing the entire process from raw material procurement to the delivery of finished products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, supply chain management, and experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.

You Will:

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure efficient inbound and outbound transportation and distribution of products to their final destinations
  • Oversee the coordination and management of logistics activities, including shipping (international and domestic), customs clearance (in coordination with our 3PLs and freight forwarders), and coordination with regulatory agencies to move product
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers
  • Provide recommendations to leadership to simplify logistics strategies to enable our company’s goals
  • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to logistics and transportation
  • Develop and manage budgets for logistics operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Engineering, Production, Sourcing, and Special Projects to ensure seamless operations

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Extensive knowledge of global logistics, particularly import / export regulations, including tariffs, incoterms, HTS codes, HAZMAT regulations, etc.
  • Experience working with NVOs, ocean carriers, drayage companies, freight forwarders, and customs house brokerage firms
  • Strong knowledge of logistics software and systems, such as ERP and WMS
  • Proven ability to manage complex logistics operations and lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The pay range for this position is $100-140k. This pay range may be inclusive of several career levels and will be narrowed based on several factors, including the candidate's experience and qualifications.
