Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.&nbsp;</p></div><p><strong>Role Summary:</strong></p> <p>The Logistics Analyst managing Route Guide and Rate Maintenance is a key function supporting the logistics teams at Rivian responsible for delivering components for Production and Service locations. In this role you will manage TMS route guides supporting Rivian’s network strategy and maintain master data across all carrier modes (parcel, freight, ocean, and air). In addition to being a subject matter expert on these data sets, the role will be responsible for ensuring carrier rate and route guide data in Rivian’s Transportation Management System (TMS) drives carrier selection and execution with minimal manual intervention. &nbsp;Position will support carrier management to drive continuous carrier improvement. In short, the position will impact logistics performance from data management pre-shipment thru post-shipment performance.</p> <p>The ideal candidate understands the impact routing guides have on end-to-end shipment execution within the TMS. Candidate should be able to communicate complex issues and ideas to a variety of audiences, manage competing priorities through effective communication and documentation, and work effectively with cross-functional team members and external partners. We’re looking for an organized self-starter with an analytical mindset and hands on experience across all modes of transportation. Candidate must be willing to roll-up sleeves and dive into the weeds.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Establish control processes and guidelines for rate and route guide data maintenance from the ground up.</li> <li>Maintain carrier rates and route guides in Rivian TMS with a deep understanding of current logistics planning and execution and how master data drives shipment execution and compliant freight audit.</li> <li>Interpret business requirements and perform analysis to support strategic and tactical objectives.</li> <li>Understands components of carrier contracts that enables shipment execution and effective freight audit.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve TMS Rating Issues in real-time.</li> <li>Facilitate and coordinate logistics data integrity concerns and provide a regular communication link back to stakeholders.</li> <li>Partner with logistics operations, purchasing, freight audit, logistics program management, and 3<sup>rd</sup> party providers to continuously improve data accuracy.</li> <li>Support carrier manager in monthly scorecard development and submission, claims management, and carrier corrective actions thru 5-why process.</li> <li>Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate root-cause drivers to issue, track, and drive continuous improvement.</li> <li>Automate non-value-added tasks and data collection.</li> <li>Own the role, and craft best in class strategies and process for exponential growth.</li> <li>Provide a customer-oriented approach to support the internal customers.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Data Analytics, or Supply Chain</li> <li>3-5 years of experience in the automotive/operational logistics industry; experience in structuring, analyzing, and visualizing large data sets preferred</li> <li>Hands-on experience working with Transportation Management System (TMS)</li> <li>Understands components from carrier contracts across all modes, domestic and international, that impact TMS shipment execution and freight audit</li> <li>Experience with Data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) and data transformation tools (Alteryx) beneficial, but not required</li> <li>Ability to develop and interpret data to drive execution and decision-making</li> <li>Flexibility to think strategically and act tactically</li> <li>You have a collaborative method of working and capability in a range of communication styles.
