We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</span></p></div><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Build and mentor a team of Battery (Cells, Modules, Packs), Motor, Inverter, and Electric Propulsion Unit engineering technicians</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Own and maintain all Powertrain build &amp; test lab spaces at Archer Engineering HQ</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ensure technicians meet engineering build and test objectives per program schedule&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Drive high standards in Safety, Quality, Innovation, and Collaboration</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lead a team of technicians in conducting component level tests in accordance with test procedures</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Partner with Design and Manufacturing Engineers to identify manpower, equipment, test, and facility needs for all Powertrain programs</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Capture and track engineering build issues and identify root cause&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Define and track technician team KPI’s</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Need</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong understanding of physics and engineering fundamentals</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">3+ years’ experience in assembly and test of electro-mechanical components</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Previous experience leading/mentoring indirect reporting crews of 5 or more</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience in Powertrain (Battery &amp; Propulsion) manufacturing process development and equipment bring-up</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Proficient with MS Office Suite</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent communication and organizational skills</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Associates or higher degree</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience in battery abuse testing</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Knowledge of FAA aircraft certification requirements for Part 23 aircraft</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with DO-160G, DO-311A aerospace standards</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with UN38.3, IEC, ISO, and UL electrification standards</span></li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><h5><span style="font-weight: 400;">Archer is proud to be an Equal Opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
