Lab technician

What We’re Looking For

The person who fills this role will have the opportunity to participate in the development of a new innovative material and become an experienced material researcher.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Create composites;
• Sample testing;
• Verification of compliance of raw materials from alternative suppliers with the requirements for specified characteristics;
• Creation of material testing procedures;
• Communication with external laboratories, documentation, preparing and sending samples, receiving physical and mechanical properties and evaluating test results;
• Preparing reports.

What’s Required

• English, Turkish - fluent;
• Understanding of research processes, work in the laboratory preferably in polymers or organic fields;
• Lab experience, the experience of participating in scientific research work;
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Material Science/Polymer Materials.

What’s Nice-to-Have

• Lab experience in composite materials;
• Knowledge of the chemistry of acrylic or epoxy resins;
• Experience with testing machines;
• Preferably graduated from Bogazici University, ITU, ODTU, YTU, Koc or Sabancı University.
