Your mission:

  • Coordination of requirements with customers, energy suppliers and grid operators.
  • Implementation and adaptation of communication protocol conversions and additional power control functionalities via PLC programming.
  • Utilization of plant-specific documentation, including protocols and wiring diagrams.
  • Remote and on-site commissioning of monitoring and power control solutions for photovoltaic, BESS and hybrid PV/battery power plants in Germany and worldwide.
  • Management of subcontractors during commissioning activities from a remote location.
  • Provision of verification services for plant certification.
  • Fault analysis and troubleshooting at customer sites in case of complex technical issues.
  • On-site assessment of existing monitoring and power control solutions for retrofit projects with meteocontrol solutions.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with the PLC & Commissioning team and other teams within the C&I Solutions department, including Technical Design, Proposal and GCC.

Your profile:

  • Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or a completed apprenticeship in a related technical field. 
  • Professional experience in a relevant industrial or technical environment.
  • Knowledge of PLC programming.
  • Interest in photovoltaics, grid integration, control technology, hybrid systems and battery storage solutions.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills combined with a structured and solution-oriented working style.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility in a project-driven environment.
  • Ability to maintain structured documentation using tools such as YouTrack, Salesforce or Confluence.
  • Basic IT and network technology skills as well as good communication skills in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 30%) and a collaborative team-player mentality.
