The two web-application platforms enable grid operators to digitalize and automate their processes.

As Junior Project Engineer (f/m/d), you will be part of our Customer Implementation team, which is responsible for the whole implementation process of new customers. The implementation includes the coordination of external and internal stakeholders as well as the technical setup of the Intelligent Grid Platform and a successful data integration. In your role, you will combine project management with hands-on technical execution to make sure that the customer can tap the software's full potential.

Your tasks and responsibilities

You coordinate our implementation projects with distribution grid operators and utilities
You create data integration concepts based on customer requirements, source systems (e.g. GIS, ERP, Asset Management, Billing, Grid Simulation Software) and detailed data analysis
You implement custom software interfaces using the existing data integration framework to ensure a successful import of customer data
You coordinate the provisioning of the platform to the customer together with site reliability engineers
You provide insights to the customers in order to help improve data quality
You support the strategic development of our products based on customer feedback

What you need to succeed

You successfully finished your studies in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering or a comparable field of study
You have a good understanding of energy distribution systems and electrical power grids
You gained first experience with electrical grid modelling and/or geo-information systems (GIS)
You have experience with grid modelling in power flow calculations and/or geo-information systems (GIS)
You understand the basics of ETL processes, i.e., data integration processes
You have good programming skills, ideally in Python and SQL (preferably Postgres)
You enjoy teamwork and are motivated to work in an innovative and fast paced environment
Your have a confident appearance and communicate professionally in German and English
