We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to join our Finance team on an initial 6 month contract with the potential to go permanent.
Your role will include the co-ordination and preparation of the monthly management accounts, reporting on variances as required and providing commercial insight. You will be working closely with the business to assist with day-to-day finance management and identifying any commercial risks or opportunities to improve the business’ position.

What you'll do
Monthly management reporting, this includes the preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, preparing accruals, liaising with finance representatives to finalise resultsAnalyse monthly results for senior management and be able to explain any unexpected resultsAssist with the preparation of consolidated reporting for Group and external party submissions to tight deadlinesAssisting department heads with day to day finance management of the businessEnsuring that reporting is compliant with all relevant accounting standards and keeping up to date with new reporting standards that may impact the companyWorking with various company structures and inter-company transactions including foreign exchange transactions and transfer pricingReviewing finance processes in each entity to ensure that improvements are made continuously to help the businesses run more efficientlyPreparation of year end financial statements Assisting with system implementation projects Managing creditor and debtor ledgers and dealing with any queries regarding payments or receiptsAssisting with audit and tax queries Preparation and filing of annual PAYE Settlement agreementsQuarterly and monthly VAT returns for various entities What you'll need
Qualified Chartered Accountant Advanced excel skills is preferableMust be able to effectively communicate and present to senior managementKnowledge of international GAAP and IFRS accounting standards Demonstrate ability to liaise with stakeholders and external parties confidently Strong attention to detail and organisational skillsWhy else you'll love it here
