What You’ll Do
  • Lead the Total Rewards center of excellence company-wide, reporting directly to the Chief People Officer
  • Develop and implement Archer’s Total Rewards strategy, creating an industry leading employee proposition
  • Design, implement, and communicate compensation and benefit strategies company-wide
  • Design short and long term incentives, partnering with the talent and performance center of excellence to ensure it’s tied into the annual performance appraisal process
  • Partner and participate with compensation consultants and external market data providers to establish and implement job architecture that is scalable over time.
  • Build a scalable job architecture by evaluating job duties, competencies, values and levels
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure equitable and competitive employee compensation
  • Own and administer equity and bonus plans
  • Stay current with federal, state, and regional legislation changes
  • Evaluate the benefits programs including: insurance programs, retirement plans, sick leave, time off and vacation policies
  • Coordinates vendor management, wellness and health education initiatives
  • Negotiates coverage services and costs with carriers
  • Play a major role in the selection, administration, and maintenance of benefit brokers, carrier and insurance relationships.
  • Administer the company’s pension and retirement plans (401k)
  • Ensure compliance with ACA, SOC2, non-discrimination testing, worker’s compensation, and other regulatory reporting requirements
  • Stay up to date on Board requirements related to compensation and prepare board materials accordingly
  • Partner with JustWorks to ensure employees are supported for all retirement and health/welfare benefit questions. When appropriate and company transitions to an HRIS, build and lead a team of compensation and benefits experts spanning across the administration of employee salaries, commissions, discretionary bonuses, equity (stock options and RSUs), medical/dental/vision plans, ancillary insurance offerings, memberships and discounts, retirement (pension and 401k), and leaves of absence.
What You Need
  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration, HR, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience leading total rewards in a fast paced publicly traded tech start up
  • 5+ years of experience leading a team
  • Executive Compensation experience
  • Experience preparing materials for Board of Directors and compensation committee meetings
