Voltus is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Hardware Production Technician to join our Hardware Production team within Field Operations. This onsite role combines hardware assembly, testing, troubleshooting, quality control, and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-directed, analytical, and takes ownership of producing accurate, high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities
Hardware Production: Assemble, wire, program, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage data acquisition hardware (Voltlets).
Quality Control: Follow SOPs, wiring diagrams, and QC processes to ensure consistent and reliable hardware.
Order Fulfillment: Prepare and package hardware for deployment to customer sites and maintain accurate records in internal systems.
Cross-Functional Support: Work with Project Engineers to fulfill hardware orders and troubleshoot field hardware issues.
Process Improvement: Maintain production documentation and identify opportunities to improve quality, reliability, and efficiency.
Qualifications
Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent and 2–3 years of relevant assembly or manufacturing experience; technical certifications, vocational training, or an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, manufacturing, engineering technology, or a related field preferred.
Core Competencies: Detail-oriented, dependable, self-directed, analytical, and accountable, with strong communication and organizational skills.
Technical Experience: Experience with low-voltage electrical systems, wiring diagrams, hand tools, and basic hardware troubleshooting.
Systems & Software: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience accurately maintaining records in digital systems.
Preferred Skills: Experience with ERP or CRM systems, Salesforce, manufacturing work orders, inventory processes, telemetry or hardware configuration platforms, and SOP documentation.
Physical Requirements: Combination of sitting and standing, use of a pallet jack, and occasionally lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds safely.
