Be a part of the AI revolution with sustainable technology at Crusoe. Here, you'll drive meaningful innovation, make a tangible impact, and join a team that’s setting the pace for responsible, transformative cloud infrastructure.

About the Role:

The Group Product Manager for Bare Metal as a Service drives the vision and owns outcomes for Crusoe's bare metal compute portfolio, delivering direct GPU and CPU server access that powers the most demanding AI training and inference workloads. You'll define how customers provision, manage, and scale physical infrastructure at fleet scale, translating the needs of AI-native companies into product capabilities that balance performance, flexibility, and infrastructure economics.

This role operates at the intersection of hardware platforms, provisioning systems, and customer experience. You'll own the strategic direction for bare metal offerings across multiple GPU generations and server architectures, ensuring Crusoe's infrastructure investments translate into differentiated customer value. You'll lead cross-functional initiatives spanning engineering, infrastructure operations, finance, and GTM teams, with company-wide impact on capacity utilization and revenue.

As a recognized leader, you'll contribute to Crusoe Cloud's holistic product strategy, mentor other Product Managers, and drive initiatives with urgency and strategic clarity. You'll be accountable for both execution and the long-term direction of bare metal services as a foundational element of Crusoe's IaaS platform.

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Drive the vision and strategic roadmap for bare metal compute, including GPU and CPU server offerings, provisioning systems, and lifecycle management capabilities

  • Own outcomes for the bare metal portfolio, ensuring alignment between hardware investments, customer demand, and infrastructure economics

  • Define product direction across new GPU generations, server configurations, and deployment models, making strategic tradeoffs between performance, cost, and time-to-market

  • Lead significant cross-functional initiatives to deliver fleet-level capabilities including provisioning automation, observability, performance optimization, and customer self-service

  • Build consensus with engineering leads, infrastructure operations, and finance teams on capacity planning, hardware refresh cycles, and capital allocation decisions

  • Define pricing and packaging models that maximize utilization while maintaining customer flexibility and long-term profitability

  • Partner with sales and customer success to incorporate enterprise customer feedback into roadmap prioritization, identifying revenue opportunities and product-market fit

  • Contribute to holistic Crusoe Cloud strategy by understanding AI workload trends and collaborating cross-functionally to generate actionable insights

  • Mentor product managers and engineers, developing their skills in infrastructure product management and cross-functional leadership

  • Represent bare metal strategy to customers, partners, and internal executives, framing technical decisions in business context

What You'll Bring to the Team:

Required:

  • 8+ years of product management experience with infrastructure or platform products, including proven leadership of complex, cross-functional initiatives

  • Deep expertise in compute infrastructure, including server hardware, provisioning systems, distributed systems, and large-scale fleet operations

  • Strong understanding of GPU-based AI workloads, including training and inference characteristics, performance considerations, and customer requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to drive vision and strategic direction for a product portfolio, balancing technical constraints, customer needs, and business outcomes

  • Proven track record making strategic decisions in ambiguous problem spaces with long-term company impact

  • Experience building consensus across engineering, operations, and finance teams on capital-intensive infrastructure investments

  • Strong analytical skills interpreting utilization, performance, and financial metrics to guide portfolio prioritization

  • Excellent communication skills articulating technical concepts to executives and translating business goals into product direction

  • Track record of developing other product manager or engineers through coaching and mentorship

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience managing large-scale GPU fleets or AI infrastructure platforms

  • Background in infrastructure economics, capacity planning, or capital allocation for hardware platforms

  • Direct experience operating AI training or inference workloads at scale

  • Familiarity with bare metal provisioning systems, IPMI/BMC protocols, or infrastructure automation tools

  • People management experience leading a team of product managers

Benefits:

  • Industry competitive pay

  • Restricted Stock Units in a fast growing, well-funded technology company

  • Health insurance package options that include HDHP and PPO, vision, and dental for you and your dependents

  • Employer contributions to HSA accounts

  • Paid Parental Leave

  • 401(k) with a 100% match up to 4% of salary

  • Generous paid time off and holiday schedule

  • Cell phone reimbursement

  • Tuition reimbursement
