About This Role:

Crusoe Energy is seeking a highly skilled Manager, Material Management & Logistics to oversee all material flow, warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management across two Tulsa-area facilities. You will lead receiving, warehousing, inventory control, material handling, packaging, and logistics execution across both sites.

This role requires a strategic, data-driven leader who can build high-performing teams, develop scalable processes, implement best practices, and ensure consistent material availability to support production and machining operations. Your leadership will directly influence production throughput, material accuracy, inventory health, and the efficiency of Crusoe’s supply chain.

What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Multi-Site Leadership & Team Development: Lead material management, warehouse, and logistics teams across two operational sites. Build and coach team leads, establishing clear performance expectations and KPIs.

  • Receiving, Inspection & Quality: Oversee all inbound activity, including unloading, system receipt, and labeling. Partner with Quality and Procurement to manage nonconforming, quarantined, and RMA materials.

  • Material Planning & Inventory Control: Own all warehousing operations including storage, cycle counting, and traceability. Implement methods such as Min/Max, Safety Stock, Kanban, ABC classification, and FIFO/FEFO.

  • Production Support & Staging: Develop robust staging processes for work orders and kitting. Ensure materials are delivered to production areas fully prepared and labeled to reduce downtime.

  • Logistics & Outbound Coordination: Oversee outbound packaging, freight scheduling, and carrier relationships to ensure on-time, damage-free delivery of finished goods.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, and Quality to ensure material readiness and resolve supply issues before they impact production.

  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques to enhance ERP usage and reduce non-value-added movements.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Leadership Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in material management, logistics, or warehousing, with a proven ability to lead multi-site teams.

  • Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of inventory control and material flow—ideally within both assembly manufacturing and machine shop environments.

  • System Proficiency: Proficient in ERP systems and inventory management tools; ability to analyze and act on KPI dashboards.

  • Communication & Teamwork: Skilled in cross-functional coordination and able to adapt to shifting priorities in a solutions-focused manner.

  • Physical & Safety Capabilities: Able to operate forklifts safely, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform warehouse-related physical tasks.

  • Safety and Compliance: This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required. Must be able to pass a background check.

Bonus Points:

  • Direct experience with Lean Manufacturing or 5S implementation.

  • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, etc.).

  • Experience managing logistics for high-value industrial or energy-related equipment.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation

  • Restricted Stock Units

  • Paid time off & paid holidays

  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance

  • Employer contributions to HSA account

  • Paid parental leave

  • Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability

  • Mental health & wellness support

  • Commuter benefits (parking & transit)

  • 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary

  • Volunteer time off
