Geospatial Data Analyst (contractor)

Isometric is a technology company that provides agentic certification services for the industrial economy, using artificial intelligence to certify carbon removal, industrial emissions reductions, clean energy, sustainable fuels, materials, and data center operations. The company's platform, called Certify, deploys AI agents to automate the end-to-end certification workflow, reading evidence, cross-checking millions of data points, and surfacing cases that require expert human judgment, reducing processes that previously took months to hours. Its public registry publishes every certificate in full with a complete chain of custody from issuance through retirement, enabling transparency and traceability across all certified projects.

Isometric is the AI-native certifier of climate solutions.

We combine scientific rigor with best-in-class technology to unlock the capital and trust needed to reverse climate change.

Our customers, including Microsoft and Google, trust us to help them avoid greenwashing.

  • Developing uncertainty quantification approaches.

• Support Isometric’s commercial team in providing bespoke indicative analysis to inform potential project developers about their carbon sequestration potential.

• Abstract the bespoke solutions you develop for project developers into reusable code components.

• Collaborate with the Data Science and Biosphere Science teams at Isometric to review and adapt your approaches.

Things we’re looking for:

• Proficiency in data analysis, geospatial data and using cloud-hosted tools (e.g. BigQuery, Jupyter).

• Strong Python skills, with experience in data abstractions, pipeline management and integrating machine learning solutions.

• Clear communication skills and skilled ability to work with customers.

• Adaptability to evolving priorities and a proactive approach to solving impactful problems, especially in dynamic environments.

This role isn’t for you if:
