About the company:

Sylvera is a data and analytics company specializing in the voluntary carbon market, providing independent ratings, pricing data, and market intelligence to help buyers, investors, developers, and governments make informed decisions about carbon credits. The company evaluates the quality and integrity of carbon credits through its ratings platform, enabling participants to assess project performance, creditworthiness, and risk with greater transparency and confidence. Sylvera also offers geospatial tools including biomass and canopy height data to support accurate measurement, reporting, and verification of nature-based carbon projects. Sylvera's mission is to build the data infrastructure needed for credible, high-integrity carbon markets that can meaningfully contribute to global climate goals. By offering independent assessments and market intelligence, the company seeks to address longstanding challenges around greenwashing, mispricing, and lack of standardization in voluntary carbon markets. Its product suite spans carbon credit ratings, Article 6 and CORSIA compliance tools, a Market Gateway for inventory access, and commodity-level carbon intensity assessments for sectors such as hydrogen, ammonia, and cement. What distinguishes Sylvera is its combination of rigorous scientific methodology, satellite-derived geospatial data, and financial market intelligence, making it one of the most comprehensive independent data providers in the carbon space. The company serves a broad range of stakeholders including project developers, institutional investors, corporate buyers, standards bodies, and governments, positioning itself as a trusted third party in an otherwise opaque market.
