About the company:
Our device captures at least 80% of a semi-truck’s carbon emissions directly from the tailpipe. We sell the CO2 to end-users who can store it away for a long time. We split that revenue with our customers, so the device pays for itself in just a couple years.
Remora is hiring a General Laborer who will perform various tasks to aid daily operations. The General Laborer will maintain a clean, safe and efficient work environment, all while helping to tackle the defining challenge of our time.
Responsibilities: General cleaning, organizing and maintenance of the facility as needed. Assisting skilled tradespeople and engineers in their duties. Loading and unloading materials and equipment. (Receiving of deliveries) Mechanical acuity: Laborers must maintain and operate heavy equipment and machinery, from forklifts to pallet jacks and power tools. Following instructions from supervisors and implementing plans
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred 2+ years of relevant work experience. Experience with general labor and maintenance, and interest in various tasks and projects. Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.) Apprenticeship or specialization is an asset, but not necessary
