Your role
To support during a period of four to six months, working on several topics; a new module going to market, a business case that decides whether we enter a new segment or an internal process that needs to be rebuilt before it breaks, we are looking for a
Founder's Associate Intern (f/m/x).As Founder's Associate Intern, you'll join the small team that works directly with our CEO and management on Tanso's highest-priority initiatives – the ones that are too new, too urgent or too cross-functional to sit neatly in one department.
You'll get real responsibility early, honest feedback constantly, and a front-row seat to how a B2B software company actually gets built.
In exchange, we expect you to push. This is a demanding role in a demanding team, and the people who thrive here are the ones who treat the time as a chance to compress a year’s learning into a few months.
Key responsibilities
- Own workstreams within our most important projects – research, analysis, coordination and delivery – with direct exposure to our C-level and management team.
- Support the go-to-market of new modules: build demo data, prepare prospect materials, join customer calls, and turn what you hear into a product that sells.
- Dig into new EU sustainability regulations and translate dense legal text into something our product, sales and marketing teams can actually use.
- Build the artifacts decisions get made on: business cases, market analyses, management presentations, and internal documentation.
- Clean up the data. Chase the missing input. Take the notes and turn them into decisions. Format the deck. Fix the thing nobody else has time to fix.
Your profile
- You're studying towards or have recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree with strong results, with previous internship experience in a startup, consulting, VC or a similarly demanding environment.
- You think and act like a founder: proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, and you take ownership without being asked twice.
- You're highly structured and analytical – you can break a vague question into a plan and come back with an answer, not a list of open points.
- You're comfortable with technology and AI tools, and you're curious to try building things yourself.
- You have a practical interest in sustainability and sustainable regulations that lets you hold your own in product and customer discussions.
- You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
- You get excited by the idea of growing a startup into a successful scale up.
This is a four to six month internship.
