Our Global Platform Engineering department is responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining the robust and scalable infrastructure, tooling, and services that power our platform. Joining a new FinOps team within Platform, you'll help drive the optimisation of our AWS Cloud and SaaS spend, leveraging your financial acumen and technical expertise to ensure cost efficiency and maximise value for our brands and for our clients.
Joining our team provides a unique chance to work on a wide range of new FinOps projects, contributing to the development and implementation of financial reports and dashboards. You'll stay up-to-date with the latest AWS pricing models, cost management tools, and best practices in FinOps. Your analytical mindset and attention to detail will be crucial as you identify opportunities to optimise costs, right-size resources, and generally help optimise our Cloud and SaaS spend.
We would prefer someone who can work in our London office but will consider remote candidates. However, you do need to be able to work in the UK.

Analyse our AWS Cloud spend patterns and identify cost-saving opportunitiesMonitor and track AWS usage and billing dataProvide recommendations for right-sizing, resizing, or decommissioning resources to maximise cost efficiencyPlan and execute AWS savings plans, reservations and commitment-based savings plansDevelop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and metrics related to AWS Cloud spendLiaise and collaborate with our AWS account management teamStay updated on the latest AWS pricing models, cost management tools, and best practices in FinOpsProvide guidance and training to teams on cost optimisation strategies and AWS cost management toolsWhat you'll need
Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts, particularly AWS services and pricing modelsPrior experience in financial analysis, cost management, or cloud economicsProficient in data analysis and visualisation tools such as AWS Quicksight, Excel, Tableau, or similarFamiliarity with AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets, and other AWS cost management toolsPython programming experience for report generation and automation using external APIsAbility to work independently with strong attention to details and accuracyExperience working closely with external IT vendors
